WELDING FACILITY

Our welding capabilities range from prototype to production and can be varied as per our customer requirements.

1) Automatic Plasma Welding

• SPM for longitudinal welding of Pipes.
• By Plasma Welding ,100% penetration is achieved in one pass.
• Weld capacity 8mm in One pass.
• Equipped with holding arrangement so as to facilitate and increase the welding speed.
• Parent metal structure at weld joint is retained with the controlled welding parameters.

CUTTING FACILITY

We have facility to cut any type of stainless steel from 0.5mm to 60mm by argon hydrogen plasma / water vortex / dry nitrogen / dry oxygen process and mild steel from 0.5 mm to 100mm by plasma / gas cutting.

1) CNC Plasma Cutting Machine Our CNC Plasma Cutting Systems provide high speed, heavy tonnage and consist of True-Cut plasma cutting capabilities, which always deliver cost-effective service by producing close tolerance components.

    Distinctive Features & Advantages:

• Cut capacity 90mm.
• Cutting of SS done under water, no oxidation on edges, thus strong weld joint and no edge preparation is required.
• Deep penetration is possible of the cutting edges without any pre-treatment.
• Auto grooving on the cutting surface.
• Clean cutting without any dross and without any change in the properties of the cutting material.
• Can cut various shapes and sizes with accuracy up to + 1.5 mm.
• Machine is equipped with intelligent software to design and cut any shape and size.

2) High Precision CNC Cutting Machine     Distinctive Features& Advantages: Cut capacity of 12mm. Minimum cutting taper. Very smooth & fine edge like laser machine. No need to machine the job as it is highly accurate. Equipped with highly intelligent software to cut any shape and size. No oxidation of edges. Higher accuracy through use of methane gas (CH4) (high heat input).

BENDING FACILITY

1) CNC Plate Bending Machine

Many industries today are turning to CNC machining as a means to speed manufacturing ability and increase repeatable accuracy. The ability to machine complex shapes, undercuts and difficult angles in a single setup reduces tooling cost and labour time, resulting in a better cost per part in addition to maintaining parts conformity throughout the run of the part.

Our fully hydraulic CNC based machines with four rolls with pre bending ability provides the versatility to roll ob-round shapes, segments, cylinders and even cones.

We have two CNC plate bending machines of different dimensions to fulfill the different requirements of our clients.

Distinctive Features& Advantages: High speed bending machines with precision control on the dimensions. No post bending hammering is required to match the ends. Can bend up to thickness 12mm x 2500mm achieving perfect shape of any specification. Can bend various shapes like Cone, Sqaure, Rectangle, Triangle, Oval etc. Rolls are hardened and crowned, due to which no marks appear on the sheet to be rolled. Rolling is done in one pass, thereby reducing time of bending.

MACHINING SECTION

In addition to these, our fabrication unit is equipped with other latest machines to make the process with inline mechanism:

1. Lathe and Grinding Machines.
2. Milling and Radial Drill Machine.
3. Shapers.
4. Manual Bending, Cutting and Welding Machines.
5. Shearing Machines for straight cutting.
6. Facility of Tack Welding Fixtures to ensure proper welding joint of two different shaped profiles.

We are also shortly adding Cut to Length Shearing System for uncoiling of sheets in its state of art workshop. We are equipped with advance material handling system for the movement of materials and equipments.

We are implementing ISO 9002 for quality control in manufacturing process. All equipments pass through the rigorous calibration tests before their dispatch to the respective clients.

INSTRUMENTATION AND AUTOMATION CONTROL

SED has its own instrumentation and automation wing that is providing its professional services to the sugar and process industries.

We have developed in-house technology for fully Automated Cooling & Condensing System. The Automation is based on SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) control.

We have in-house facility to develop and manufacture the following instruments:

1. Solenoid Valves
2. Temperature Transmitters
3. Pressure Transmitters
4. Temperature and Vacuum Gauges.

We have our own instrumentation-testing laboratory so as to provide Equipments / system to our clients with utmost precision and accuracy.
