Chairman's Award for Excellence: The Chairman's Award for Excellence is a company-wide recognition and appreciation of an individual's efforts and achievements. Everybody contributes to SED success but there are some employees who work as part of a team and demonstrate to their colleagues that what it means to be simply 'Better'. For them, there is now a special acknowledgment of their achievements and efforts “The Chairman's Award for Excellence”. The awards are handed over annually to the employees judged by the Steering Committee who have made an outstanding contribution. |

Long Service Award: One of the ways in which the company recognizes an employee's contribution, commitment and loyalty towards the company is through the Long Service Award. SED Long Service Award Scheme is also one of the ways to record the appreciation of being with the company. On completing 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service in the organization, the company would present an employee with certificate, Gold Coin / Household Item. Manager of the Quarter: On quarterly basis, a Manager would be recognized by the steering committee for his/her outstanding performance for showing team leadership by rewarding them with a certificate & family dinner coupons. Fair Performance Management System: Opportunities for promotions are drawn to the attention of all eligible employees. The Performance Management System (PMS) incorporates frequent and open discussion between managers and their juniors to identify career planning, competency acquisition and personal development plans geared to individual needs and business requirements. |
